Bob's Your Uncle

Bob Egan's musical CV reads like a who's who of the US alt-country scene. Having worked with luminaries including Wilco, Freakwater, Souled American, Neko Case, Oh Susanna and The Sadies. Egan has more recently become known as the steel player for Canadian icons Blue Rodeo. As Nashville Scene wrote of his new self-titled album: "Think of it as an engaging debut of a second fiddle who's more than ready to occupy first chair."

Egan will showcase his songwriting talents when he plays two Melbourne shows in September, accompanied by Blue Rodeo's Bazil Donovan, John Stirrat (Wilco, ex-Uncle Tupelo) and David Creese. Egan plays the Continental on September 10 and the Corner on the 13th.
